We want to take this opportunity to welcome to our family, Geraldine Thompson. Also, Daniel, Whitney & Avery Jacobs. These Christians have all expressed their desire to place membership here with us, and work under the Eldership at Dasher. Welcome all to the family.
WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT
Congratulations to Austin Guthrie and Ashley Carter on their wedding announcement. The big day is March 27th, 2010, at Dasher. Love, prayers and best wishes to the happy couple!!!
MILITARY NEWS
Congratulations to Eric Ovaert, who graduated from Basic Training with the Air Force Tuesday, February 23rd. We are proud of you!
DASHER KIDS Kto5
March 14th - The entire congregation is invited to Sundae Sunday after evening services. Bring your favorite toppings. This event is hosted by our Dasher Kids Kto5.
March 28th - The Annual Dasher Kids Kto5 Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 28th, after morning services. More details for follow.
HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
All high school seniors should submit to Ms. DeMaris your senior portraits as soon as possible.
Also, all high school seniors should submit to Johnny Lightsey photos and music for the video presentation on Senior Night, which is scheduled for May 16th. Please submit between 20 and 25 photos and 2 selections of music by April 18th. Any questions, see Johnny.
GEORGIA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
May 1st - Please join WOFSY for our first annual Spring Bazaar and Garage Sale in the GCS Gym. Let us rent you a space to sell your treasures and do your advertising. Register early and be a part of this special event. Applications are available upon request. All proceeds will go towards the GCS Computer Lab. Registration dates are February 15th April 30th. GEORGIA SCHOOL OF PREACHING
For general information regarding the Georgia School of Preaching, current term dates, a list of courses offered and registration, visit our website at www.gsoponline.org. Be sure to click on Valdosta Campus. Everyone is invited to attend these classes.
If you are able to provide a meal or donate an entrée (sides will be provided) to the School of Preaching, a sign-up sheet is available on the table in the front foyer. This is a wonderful, very much needed and appreciated ministry!
